Mia helped me through one of the most vulnerable and sacred experiences of my life. Caring for my beloved Zuri (my friend and dog of almost 15 years) as she transitioned from life to death was one of the most difficult and yet meaningful events of my life. Mia provided me with the support I needed to be emotionally and physically present and supportive while providing Zuri with the environment and love she had always known. Mia’s guidance and reassurance was vital, and I could not have done it without her. With her help, however, I was able to navigate those last weeks and days of Zuri’s life with the peace of mind that I was giving her the end of life care she deserved. I am forever grateful for Mia and the knowledge and wisdom she provided at such a critical moment in my life.
